Over $125 million in projects funded.
The Interior Department announced last week that the Great American Outdoors Act Coordination and Implementation Task Force had determined which projects would be funded under the Land and Water Conservation Fund. The National Parks Service and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will provide more than $125 million for 46 conservation projects across the nation.
Margaret Everson, the Counselor to the Secretary of the Interior and the Chair of the Great American Outdoors Act Task Force said, “We continue to make progress to deliver on the purpose of this historic conservation legislation. We carefully evaluated each deferred maintenance project and land acquisition to maximize the return on investment for the American people and deliver on the promises of this unprecedented opportunity.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- That God would use the Interior Department to preserve God’s creation.
- For the Lord to lead Secretary Bernhardt to lead the Department effectively.
- For God to help Counselor Everson to lead the task force well.
